Privacy Policy

PipeFuel LLC (“PipeFuel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates pipefuel.io and provides managed business-to-business outreach services to commercial contractors and related businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers three distinct groups, and different sections apply depending on which describes you:

  • Website visitors — anyone browsing pipefuel.io
  • Clients and prospective clients — businesses that engage us or inquire about our services
  • Recipients of client campaigns — individuals who receive outreach we send on behalf of a client

If you received an email from a company using PipeFuel and want to be removed from further contact, see Section 9.

2. Information we collect

From website visitors

When you visit pipefuel.io we may collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on the site. This is collected automatically through standard server logs maintained by our hosting provider. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to browse the site.

From clients and prospective clients

When you contact us, book a call, or become a client, we collect the information you provide: name, business name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and any information you share about your business, target customers, or sales process. If you become a client we also collect billing information, which is processed by our payment provider and not stored on our systems.

Prospect data processed on behalf of clients

As part of delivering our services, we build and maintain lists of business contacts on behalf of our clients. This data typically includes business name, business email address, job title, industry, company size, and business location. It is sourced from commercially available business databases, publicly accessible business information, and information supplied by the client.

We do not knowingly collect personal telephone numbers, home addresses, personal email addresses, or any sensitive personal information as part of this process. Our targeting is limited to individuals acting in a professional capacity at businesses.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve pipefuel.io
  • Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations
  • Deliver the services a client has engaged us to perform
  • Build and validate prospect lists according to a client’s stated criteria
  • Send, monitor, and optimize outreach campaigns on a client’s behalf
  • Process payments and maintain business records
  • Comply with legal obligations, including recordkeeping required under applicable email marketing laws
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse

4. We do not sell your information

PipeFuel does not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise transfer contact data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Prospect lists built for a client are used solely for that client’s campaigns. They are not resold, shared between clients, or repurposed.

5. Cookies and analytics

pipefuel.io does not currently run analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking software. We do not use third-party tracking pixels, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visit.

The site may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies required for basic operation and security by our hosting provider. These are not used to identify or track you across other sites.

If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, present a consent mechanism before any non-essential cookie is set. Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us operate — web hosting, email sending infrastructure, data validation, CRM, and payment processing. They receive only what they need to perform their function and are bound to protect it.
  • Clients. When a recipient replies to a campaign we run, that reply and the associated contact information are provided to the client on whose behalf the campaign was sent.
  • Legal requirements. Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

7. Data retention

We retain client business records for as long as the relationship continues and afterward as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.

Prospect data is retained for the duration of the client engagement it supports. Records of opt-out requests are retained indefinitely — this is deliberate and required, because suppression lists only work if they are permanent.

Server log data is retained by our hosting provider according to its standard practices.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you
  • Request a copy of that information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (note: we do not sell or share)
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising these rights

These rights are available to residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comparable privacy laws, and they apply to business contact information as well as consumer information.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pipefuel.io. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Where PipeFuel processes data on behalf of a client, we act as a service provider. We will forward your request to the relevant client and assist them in responding, and we will honor deletion and suppression requests directly regardless.

9. If you received an email from a campaign we run

Every message we send includes a working unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you immediately and permanently from that client’s list and adds you to our global suppression list, which prevents future contact from any campaign we operate.

You can also email hello@pipefuel.io from the address you want removed, or with the address specified in the message body. Removal is processed within 10 business days and typically far sooner. You do not need to give a reason, and you will not be asked to.

If you want your information deleted rather than suppressed, say so — but note that we retain a one-way record of suppressed addresses precisely so that we do not contact you again. That record contains only the address itself.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information under our control, including encrypted transmission, access controls, and vetted service providers. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our services are directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

pipefuel.io may link to third-party sites, including scheduling tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
